About

A career built on operations

Eduardo Pelleissone is Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Casa Buena Distribution, a platform that brings regional Hispanic food distributors together into a national operation serving a market of more than $100 billion in the United States.

Before founding Casa Buena, Eduardo spent more than two decades leading the operations of some of the largest logistics and consumer businesses in the Americas. At H.J. Heinz and then Kraft Heinz he served as Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Chief Operating Officer, with accountability for supply chain, procurement, quality and manufacturing worldwide; across the two companies his teams delivered roughly $3 billion in cost savings and expanded EBITDA margins from the mid-teens to the mid-twenties while restoring service levels. At XPO Logistics he was Chief Transformation Officer, working directly with the CEO to design and execute the separation of XPO into two public companies, and then President of the Americas and Asia Pacific at the spin-off, GXO Logistics, where a multi-year transformation delivered approximately 60 percent organic revenue growth and a 250 percent increase in EBITDA. In 2024 he joined QXO as Chief Transformation Officer, responsible for post-acquisition integration and enterprise-wide performance improvement.

Eduardo began his career at América Latina Logística, the publicly listed rail and logistics operator, where over fourteen years he rose through operations leadership to Chief Operating Officer and, in 2012, Chief Executive Officer. As CEO he increased revenue by 37.6 percent and EBITDA by 27.7 percent while reducing annual capital expenditure from $1 billion to $650 million. During that period he also chaired the boards of Brado Logística and Ritmo Logística and served on the board of Vetria Mineração.

He holds an MBA in logistics, operations and services from COPPEAD Graduate School of Business at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is fluent in English and Portuguese and lives in Chicago.
